brainstorm #3

My mom was watching when Harry Met Sally the other day. A few of my favorite scenes in that movie is when they interview all the different couples through out the movie... I started thinking that it might make an interesting documentary to interview three couples who have a unique story to how they ended up together. One couple could be one who was married very young, another could be an odd way of how they ended up together. This brings to my mind my own parents.. My mom and dad are about 8 years apart, yet they grew up in the same small town together... My dad even dated my moms cousin in high school. Being that my mom is the younger one he still remembers seeing her as a little kid and thinking she was a bratty little girl. Yet, they have been married for over 30 years now with six kids. The project could even involve an arranged marriage where they share their experience of going through that tradition. I was thinking it could be mainly interviews and use visual imagery though out as they tell their stories.
